With ripe golden russet apples as its base, Bark & Bite hard cider has subtle spicy flavour and exhibits a fresh lime aroma with a little bite in the finish. The Moscow Mule of hard ciders!

The Bulldog and Bee is a new take on one of the world’s oldest beverages. Hand crafted in very small batches with the base of honey crisp and ambrosia apples, the Bulldog and Bee is infused with our delicious estate unpasteurized wild flower honey to fashion a wine unlike anything we’ve done before. This sparkling honeyed apple wine is unfiltered and offers floral aromas of honey, apple blossom and clover petals. The wine’s off-dry, clean, full body is complimented by a noticeable evolving flavour profile that is both smooth and crisp and exhibits a soft lingering finish.

Dog House hard cider is fermented in very small hand-crafted batches using two ingredients. Apples, and fresh Ontario Citra Hops! Our Double Trouble Sparkling St. Cliche is a first-of-its-kind in Canada. This cold-climate grape exhibits aromas and flavours of peach, nectarine, and tangerine and has a juicy dry to off-dry finish. Enjoy Double Trouble on its own or pair it with pork or spicy dishes.

The Marquette grapes start in the rich fertile soils of Lake Erie basin in Clear Creek, Ontario where they ripen in the moderate lake-cooled summer heat. The grapes are handpicked and sorted where only the best bunches are kept for our Marquette reserve. Trying something different a combination of Canadian oak barrels and Buffalo Trace whiskey barrels were used to age the wine for over one year, where its aromas and flavors were concentrated.
With deep garnet hues, our 2020 Marquette reserve is complimented by aromas and flavors of cherry, blackberry, vanilla and caramel and exhibits a rich peppery finish.

The Hounds of Erie Winery is located in beautiful Clear Creek, Norfolk County, along the northern shore of Lake Erie. As part of the Lake Erie Basin, the vineyard is planted on rich, fertile sandy-loam soils. The grapes are ripened by the region’s hot days, and cool lake-breeze nights.
Bursting with tropical aromas of pineapple, mango and citrus, this Frontenac Blanc wine is an easy drinking summer-time wine that has a rich, yet smooth semi-sweet finish. Easily pair this wine with spicy-foods or any pork dish, or enjoy on its own for something fresh, fruity and fun.

The Hound and the Hare is a select blend of hand-picked estate grown L’acadie Blanc, Frontenac Blanc, Petite Louis and St. Cliche – a pairing unlike any other found in Canada. The wine’s journey starts in the rich sandy loam soils of beautiful Clear Creek, Norfolk County, Canada, where the warm summer sun helps ripen the grapes to perfection. This medium bodied wine is exploding in ripe tropical flavours of pineapple, mango and peach and leaves a lingering smooth finish with notes of orange peel.

Using a 50/50 combination of brand-new Canadian Oak barrels and repurposed Buffalo Trace Whiskey barrels, this wine is loaded with aromas and flavours of complex brandied cherries, blackberry, and plum with hints of caramel, vanilla, cigar, anise and almond. This light, easy drinking red wine has abundant soft tannins with a long silky finish. There is an excellent balance of acid, tannin and alcohol.

Picked on a cold crisp September morning, our Marquette grapes were immediately crushed and pressed. The wine boasts a deep ruby colour that is accompanied by flavours of fresh raspberries and cherries. This bright, crisp, and clean wine was exposed to a primary wild-fermentation to help bring out the nature of the Marquette grapes. Through stirred contact with its lees, the resulting wine has plenty of body and mouth-feel and should be enjoyed for any special occasion or simply for something new, fun, and exciting.
